All Points West NY is on. Last year at the inaugural APW I witnessed Radiohead captivate and destroy Liberty State Park. It was one of the most incredible shows of my life. Radiohead has a history of life-altering shows on the Jersey side. I was in attendance for their August 17th, 2001 epic set. On the heels of Amnesiac and Kid A, with the landscape of the full NYC skyline behind them, Thom and the boys delivered an unforgettable performance.

I digress. Point being – Liberty State Park, Jersey City gives good show.

This year’s APW NY includes The Beasties, Tool, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silversun Pickups (love ‘em), Elbow, Gaslight Anthem, and many, many more.

My 3-day pass has been acquired. Rock will be had. Though most likely I’ll skip out on the Coldplay.
