Thank the lord for the internet. A rip of Weezer’s new song Pork and Beans has made its way online today. You can grab it over at Twelve Major Chords. The rumored red album might be in stores this June. What do I think of the tune? It’s a hell of a lot better than Beverly Hills. And since I’m a true believer, maybe it signals a good album to come. Here’s hoping.

My Weezer radar went off the charts today thanks to a tip off from the tripwire. Weez main man Rivers Cuomo will be graciously releasing his first solo collection this December! Alone: The Home Recordings Of Rivers Cuomo 1992-2007 will be out on 12/11/07. It’s a collection of never before heard music, including tracks from the scrapped album Songs From the Black Hole that later morphed into what would be Pinkerton. Cannot wait, and thank you Rivers!
